The Chinese philosopher, Confucius, explains an explicit expression of a diamond. Beauty, purity, durability and undying value, all elucidate the magnificent. Diamond studded jewelry express sentiments. Thus, diamond ornaments are considered hearty presents for special occasions.

 

Diamonds are available in varied color fancies, white crystal clear being the common and in demand. Yellow, pink, brown, blue, champagne and green are other colors that assort the variety of diamonds available.

 

Fancy colored diamonds are not a mass-market product such as those which are advertised everywhere and sold by numbers. They have more personality than that. Like colored gemstones, each one is different. They come in fabulously expensive pale pinks and blues, pale to bright yellows, oranges, greens, and all those brown colours that are now given names like cognac and champagne. The chemical content in the stones determine the various shades. As the intensity of the color increases, so does the value.

 

So, buy a diamond instead of a colored gemstone if you must, but at least consider a fancy colored one which will give your jewellery more character, more individuality and more colour!
